DIRECTIONS: Spark Hall Close is off Junction 10 of M56. From Warrington take A49 South to Stretton (towards M56 Junction 10) At Stretton Roundabout take first exit (BEFORE motorway slip road). Parking at pub.

N.B. Please buy drinks at the bar beforehand, as the bill is not itemised individually and will be very complicated if drinks are included. If everyone notes the cost of the food and then pays me, we should hopefully have no problem.
walk: The walk is 4 miles, good tracks, muddy in places. No stiles or farm animals. You may wish to bring binoculars.
DIRECTIONS: From M6 Junc.22 take A579 Winwick Lane. R at T junction, across 2 sets of lights and A580 E.Lancs.(still A579). Through Lowton St. Mary's. Robin Hood is about 2 miles on R., just before Leigh Fire Station.

WALK: Easy walk round Pennington Flash. Toilets and burger van available at visitor centre. Bring binoculars if you are a birdwatcher. The first part of the walk is with the C walk on the same day
DIRECTIONS: take A579 from Winwick signposted to Leigh for about 2 miles, turn right at T junction and left at traffic lights at Red Lion onto B5207 towards Golborne. Cross A580 and in ¾ mile turn right at traffic lights into Slag Lane then follow the road for 2 miles. Pub is on left ¼ mile beyond canal.

WALK: Mainly paths, steps to/from canal and around Appleton Reservoir, May be muddy if wet.
DIRECTIONS: From Warrington. Turn left off Chester Road (A56) at the traffic lights in Higher Walton, then turn right onto Walton Lea Road (opposite Walton Arms pub) car park at the end of the road. Car park at Walton Gardens £3 for the day.
NOTE: there may be free roadside parking, if spaces, on Old Chester Road, by Walton Arms. This is approx. 1/4 mile walk to Walton Gardens.

DIRECTIONS: A49 south to traffic lights at Stretton (Cat and Lion pub on right ) approx 3.5 miles. Turn left onto B5356 and continue for approx 1.5 miles to pub.

START: The Salt Barge, Ollershaw Ln, Marston, Northwich CW9 6ES. Order food before walk, toilets available.
DIRECTIONS: From Stretton roundabout (J10 on M56) take A559 south for 5 miles. At Four Lanes Garage, Marston turn right onto Ollershaw Lane (B5075) for 1 mile. Pub on right, parking at back.
WALK : Northwich woodlands, mainly well surfaced paths – parkland, woodland & canal tow path. Some gentle inclines, some sets of steps, occasional muddy patch, views & some benches!

MEET: The Barn Owl Inn, Warrington Lane, Lymm, WA13 0SW
WALK: A pleasant stroll from the Barn Owl Inn via Spud Wood, paths and roads to Lymm, and back through the village and canal bank. There is a set of steep steps from the upper dam down to the village centre but there is a handrail. It can be quite muddy in the woods and on the towpath so wear decent footwear and possibly bring a stick.
DIRECTIONS: From Warrington take Knutsford Rd as far as traffic lights in Grappenhall then A56 towards Lymm and continue past the dam along higher lane, passing Oughtrington Lane and turn L at The Jolly Thresher traffic lights, Burford Lane. At the bottom of the lane turn sharp R just before the bend and the pub is on your left in a few hundred yards.
DISTANCE: About 8 miles/ 20 mins from Bridge Foot.

DIRECTIONS: From Warrington. Turn off A56 at Upper Walton onto Runcorn Road and 1.5 miles to centre of Moore village. Pub on LHS.
Walk : Moore Meadows and Nature Reserve. Mainly well surfaced paths and tracks, some quiet roads. Some gentle inclines, some sets of steps, maybe muddy stretches if wet. (Insects in summer, but hopefully not an issue in late Sept!).

DIRECTIONS:- From Bridge Foot take A5061 Knutsford Rd towards Latchford, go through Latchford and over swing bridge towards Grappenhall on A50, continue to traffic lights, Springbrook is on your left, turn left onto Stockport Rd and into car park.
